Kampapa Police on Sunday arrested Apio Akello, 24 year old for stabbing to death her spouse inside a city hotel room.
It is reported, Irene Apio Akello who has been experiencing marital problems with her ‘husband’, Alex Otula, ‘for short time’, stabbed him five times to death.
The deceased who was a staff of Send A Cow Uganda, an NGO, had checked-in at Hotel Top Five, Room 206 located along Mutesa 1 road, Ntinda, Nakawa division.
She admitted to the killing, telling police “it was by accident”.
The killer woman hails from Lamwo district, Acholi subregion, northern Uganda.
Otulu’s friends, using social media to eulogize him, called for “execution of his killer, too”.
” She has stabbed us all,” Jonathan Okwany, one of the deceased pals who broke the news on Facebook, wrote.
Akello is still under police custody as investigations continue.
