Fortebet company on Sunday awarded her Gulu customers worth million of shillings.
John Daniel Nanyumba, Fortebet’s media manager said the gifts was part of company’s corporate social responsibility.
He says it was also to reward customers (punters) who bet with them.
He added that: “Being the most trusted and reliable betting company in the country there is need also to give back to them. This activity will be done after every three month.”
Ocora Walter, a resident of Kasubi, Bar-dege division who was a lucky winner of Techno smart phone, appreciated the initiative of the company saying, “I have been betting with the company for nearly five years and this gift has empowered him a lot.”
“I will use the phone to bet online than lining up everyday on the counter. It will as well reduce on my transport cost everyday,” he added.
Phones, life jackets for boda-boda riders, handsbands, pens, T-shirts, Jerseys, caps, and balls where among the iteams that where given on Saturday in both Gulu and Kitgum towns.
