Dokolo—December 19, 2020: A man who claims himself to be a Satan on Friday appeared in Bata town council in Dokolo district, where he apologized to locals for having created a politics of hatred and divisionism in the district.
The happened at Omeny cell, Western ward, Bata town council in Dokolo district during the campaign of Paul Amoru Omiat.
Amoru who’s the Dokolo North MP is seeking re-election in the 2021 general elections on an independent ticket after losing the NRM flag to Moses Ogwal Goli.
Willy Ogwang known as Sergeant Ogwang Morris Willy Akolodong told people he became ‘Satanic’ after being influenced by Moses Ogwal Goli, the Dokolo North Parliamentary candidate for the NRM party.
He told voters the ‘influence’ took place during NRM primary elections in August this year
Ogwang confessed that Goli hired him together with a councillor representing Amwoma sub-county, Alex Omara Etwop to go and address media on false information and to lie about MP Amoru.
Amoru is also the vice-chairperson of the Lango Parliamentary Group (LPG).
Now, Ogwang has asked locals not to pocket any information against Amoru on any radio in Dokolo because it’s always planned by other candidates who are in fear that Amoru has worked in Parliament more than them.
Tom Aluku, the Bata town council NRM party chairperson, explained what Amoru did in his area, asking locals to desist from political propaganda being put against a politician who has something to show in their different constituencies.

Recently, NRM party chairpersons in Dokolo North denounced party flag bearer Moses Ogwal Goli. They claim he’s opposing what NRM is doing in the county.
Lebison Odongo, the head of the campaign task-force for Amoru, told voters that Amoru will be given a ministerial position once he is re-elected.
Paul Amoru said most people both in leadership and those who want leadership in Dokolo have nothing to show, but they claim that they like the district.
Some key development that Amoru has addressed in Bata includes; supporting Bung Chapel, Enget Chapel; clean water sources, St. Peters C.O.U Akuki, students’ bursary scheme; a police outpost in Atabu, among many more.
