Dokolo: Places Dr Alwoc Ogwal will have last campaigns on Tuesday

Dokolo | Tuesday, March 19, 2024, is when nominated candidates for Dokolo district woman MP by-election will conclude their campaigns. 

Each of the six candidates will “rest” on Wednesday ahead of voting for a successor woman MP on Thursday, March 21.

Candidates in the race are FDC’s Dr Rosemary Alwoc Ogwal, Janet Adongo Elau of NRM, Aguti Sarah Nyangkori of UPC; Dr Esther Akullu Obot Otada (Ind), Arao Rebecca (Ind) and Harriet Ageno of NUP.

tndNews understands that Dr Alwoc will hold her final rallies as below:

In the morning,  she will address the first rally at Barayom in Okwongodul sub-county at 10 am.

Adok sub-county

In the afternoon, she and her team will address two rallies at Centre Olii at noon and Adok Trading Centre at 1 pm.

The last two rallies to sum up the weeklong campaigns will be in Amwoma sub-county’s Regorego Trading Centre at 2 pm and Bei Bil at 3:30 pm.

The daughter of the deceased former MP, Cecilia Atim Ogwal, Dr Alwoc highly believes that on Thursday Dokolo will give her the mandate to represent them for the remaining years in the 11th Parliament.

Her campaign messages have been centred on healthcare, education, tourism, roads and more.
