Dokolo | All UPC campaign machines (squad) under the directorship of party president Jimmy Akena are camping in Adok and Agwata sub-counties on Sunday

The campaign squad are supporting their candidate for Dokolo district woman MP by-election Sarah Aguti Nyangkori.

UPC’s head of media and communications, Muzeyi Faizo, said Jimmy Akena’s strategic organisation and determination won him the Oyam North by-election last year against the ruling party by defying all odds of vote rigging.

“He’s in the company of the party Secretary General Hon. Fred Ebil, Maruzi North MP Hon. Nelson Okello Lemba, Oyam North MP Hon. Dr. Eunice Otuko Apio, Maruzi MP Hon. Maxwell Akora, Amolatar LC5 District Chairman Comrade Ocen Geoffrey.”

Others are Alebtong LC5 District Chairman Comrade David Kenneth Odongo, Division Mayors and Local Government Councilors, Regional Vice Chairperson of Lango Comrade Chris Ongom and Regional Party District Chairpersons.

“On Thursday, March 14, 2024, the UPC President announced that the party is in Dokolo for serious business and the first business on the order is to win the Dokolo by-election on Thursday, March 21, 2024,” Faizo told tndNews.

UPC, he said, is increasingly gaining momentum and support every single day.
