Nairobi I Hennessy, the world’s best-selling cognac, hosted an exclusive album listening party featuring renowned Nigerian artist Iyanya at the Black Samurai Lounge in Nairobi.
Iyanya performed his new album ‘Once Up on a Cat,’ which consisted of 13 new songs released on February 2, 2024.
The Kukere hitmaker performed the album in front of a diverse audience, including music enthusiasts, key influencers in the music industry, his close associates, loyal fans, and representatives from the media.

“When working on the album, there was the trending topic of Old Cats and New Cats. A friend then tweeted that we would place Iyanya as “Once upon a cat,” that is how my producer and I settled on that name,” said Iyanya.
