IWPG Iksan branch and Iksan disabled people’s association hold ‘happiness sharing daily cafe’

Seoul I The Iksan branch of Women’s World Peace Group (IWPG), together with the Iksan Disabled People’s Association of Friends of Iksan, represented by Jeong Byung-hyun), held a “Happiness Sharing Day Café.

The café was held for the vulnerable at the Zoom Gallery Café on the second floor of Somri Bone Daguitang in Yeongdeung-dong on December 20, 2023.

The event was organized with the Iksan Mayor’s Association to help vulnerable people during the year-end holidays, and about 250 people attended the event.

Members and friends of the two organizations enjoyed drinks at the café with tickets, learned about the winners of the 2023 ‘5th International Peace and Love Drawing Contest’ and IWPG’s peace activities, and purchased donated items at the IWPG PR room.

“We are grateful to everyone who came to the event despite the bad weather,” said Jeon Young-sun, branch manager. “We hope that this event will bloom into a small flower that colors the hearts of those who came today, and we will continue our social contribution activities for the vulnerable as part of our peace activities.”

IWPG is a women’s NGO registered with the United Nations Department of Global Communications (UN DGC) and granted ‘Special Consultative Status’ by the United Nations Economic and Social Council (UN ECOSOC).

It is actively engaged in peace activities with more than 110 branches and 560 partner organizations around the world.
