Kampala | Ugandan leader President Yoweri Museveni will this week host the President of Senegal, Macky Sall.
According to State House, President Kaguta Museveni will host the President of the Republic of Senegal, Macky Sall for a two-day official visit.
The meeting will run from Tuesday 18 to Wednesday, July 19, 2023.
“The visit is intended to deepen bilateral relations between both countries,” State House said in a statement on Monday.
Sall, 61, and Museveni, 79, have been in power since April 2012 and 1986, respectively.
Unlike Sall who has announced he won’t run for 3rd term in the 2024 elections, Museveni is regarded to continue with his presidency.
Museveni’s desire to unite Africa could be one of the reasons he wants to hang on.
