UK Deputy Prime Minister Dominic Raab resigns

United Kingdom, April 21, 2023: The United Kingdom (UK) Deputy Prime Minister Dominic Raab has resigned after a lengthy bullying investigation against him.

Raab, also the MP for Esher and Walton handed over his resignation letter to his boss, the Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.

In his letter to the PM, Raab wrote: “It has been a privilege to serve you as Deputy Prime Minister, Justice Secretary and Lord Chancellor…”

He added: “Whilst i feel duty bound to accept the outcome of the inquiry, it dismissed all but two of the claims levelled against me..”

Dominic Raab was appointed Deputy Prime Minister, Lord Chancellor and Secretary of State for Justice on 25 October 2022 and faced a lot of criticism within the government.
