Mika Virtanen new VP for Air Technology at Dacke Industri

Sweden, November 2, 2022: With the last years of solid performance and growth at Dacke Industri, we can take further steps towards greater expansion. We are streamlining and optimizing our divisions for Fluid Power Technology, Air Technology & Electromechanics, Special Technology, Electronics, and Building Systems and Products.

As Vice President for the division Air Technology and Electromechanics, Dacke Industri is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Mika Virtanen,effective 1st November 2022.

Throughout his professional career, Mika has worked with several senior leadership positions in businesses globally, such as terminals and port cranes, automation, mining, construction. He has been part of Kalmar management team in Cargotec and leading extensive business areas with wide global responsibilities. He also worked as a President of Bromma in Singapore.

After fifteen years with Cargotec, he has led stock listed company, Robit Plc, in Finland. Most recently, he came from Pimatic, one of our subsidiaries, where he steered the business in the right direction as CEO. He is now handing over that role in order to run, develop and continue to grow the entire Air Technology and Electromechanics division, centered around pneumatics and electromechanics technology within industrial applications.
