Patongo: hundreds participate in the Way of the Cross

Agago, April, 15 2022: Christains globally have Friday devoted their faith to Jesus Christ who was nailed on the cross and died.
In Patongo, hundreds of Christains carried the cross and praised the Saviour for accepting to die for the mankind.
Speaking to Martina Aryemo, a Christian in Patongo, the way of the cross is a sign of love by Jesus who died for sinners, she said.
“This is the time that followers should strengthen their faith,” she added.
Ronald Otim, a youth attached to Patongo Catholic Parish said the way of the cross is the reminder in his life and the only way to prepare us that in future there is a new place ahead of us: that is heaven.
Lakica Bernard cited an example of Simon who helped Jesus when carrying his cross, adding that it is time for forgiveness.
Father Ciperiano pa Akech of Patongo Catholic Parish urged Christians to show love, forgiveness, truth and strength.
