NRM secretariat’s team will move to each sub-region of the country.
Kampala – March 9, 2022: The National Resistance Movement (NRM) party has embarked on a countrywide tour to engage the district leadership and party supporters.
The party’s top officials in the tour are Deputy National Treasurer, Kyatuhaire Jaqueline, NRM party Electoral Commission Chairman, Dr Tanga Odoi.
Others are Director for Mobilization, Seninde Rosemary and Director for Communication and Emmanuel Lumala Dombo.
The above persons, currently in the Kigezi sub-region, are being led by the party’s Secretary-General, Richard Todwong.
Todwong and his company arrived at Kisoro district headquarters Tuesday where he met the district party leaders.
The meeting, a source said, was to set the tone for party mobilization, sensitization and assessment of salient issues in the area.
As part of his Kigezi sub-region working tour, the Secretary-General, in a company of the top party officials, will hold a series of meetings with NRM leadership in various districts.
The meetings will “appreciate the challenges” affecting the party leaders and “ideological readjustments” to align with the party core principles.
The district leadership will also be appreciated for their input and to renew commitment and assurance of working together.
Last month, Todwong and his team met party leaders and supporters from Arua and Obongi districts, respectively.
