The locals who claimed they are also poor – want assistance after the Church on Wednesday visited two families who lost all their properties in a fire outbreak.
Their grass-thatched houses were burnt and belongings destroyed.
Material support like mattresses, saucepans, bed shits, utensils, clothes and shs500, 000 was handed over to them.

The supported families confirmed receipt of the items and cash but asked their identities be concealed.
Pastor Demsy Amadi is the assembly pastor of PAG Church. He said, “Members of the public started flooding the Church premises asking the Church to give them money and scholastic materials.”
“They claim they are very poor and cannot afford to fend for their families.”
Pastor Amadi, in the same interview, said the Church does not have a budget dedicated to responding to such emergencies.
“We usually conduct fundraising from Church members to support such emergencies in the communities,” he added.
The Church is not capable of supporting everyone who undergoes such problems, this was his last proclamation with this publication.
