“The terrorists fled before our troops. No one can stand before the revolutionary power of the people!”
Kampala – December 27, 2021: It is the “power of the people” in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and the power of the two security forces hunting down a rebel group – the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF).
After several attacks by the ADF on Ugandans, the UPDF leadership asked the DRC government to allow its security forces to deploy in the Congo forests to deal with the rebels.
The UPDF, a national defense force is working together with the Forces armées de la république démocratique du Congo [FARDC]).
Plainly, FARDC is a state security group responsible for defending the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

“On the 24th of Dec 2021 the joint forces of UPDF and FARDC completely secured Kambi ya Yua. Kambi ya Yua was the HQs of the terrorist organization ADF. The terrorists fled before our troops. No one can stand before the revolutionary power of the people! God bless DRC and Uganda!!”
A few days ago, both UPDF and FARDC announced the capture of Islamic State Province, a high valued camp of the ADF. At this camp, they found solar panels and bomb-making materials.
The above items were taken by the two forces.
