Lira—6, December 2021: Various definitions exist to describe what a tool kit is. In business, a toolkit is: “A collection of authoritative and adaptable resources for front-line staff that enables them to learn about an issue and identify approaches for addressing them.”

In computing, a tool kit is defined as “a set of software tools”.

As a way of enhancing capacity, Lira NGO Forum, Global Forum for Development (GLOFORD) Uganda, Ama Cradle for Development, Facilitations for Innovations and Sustainable Productivity (FINASP) and CORN said they have launched “a tool kit meant to enhance the capacity of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and other stakeholders in energy development.”

Lira NGO Forum said on Sunday the development was made with technical support from GIZ CUSP, Promotion of Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Programme (PREEEP) and funded by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and European Union in Uganda.
