The festive season tournament commenced on Friday—18, December 2020.

Dokolo—19, December 2020: Okwerkwor village on Friday beat Ocero village 3:1 in the first match of Amoru Omiat Christmas Cup 2020.
The events are taking place at Alapata primary school playground.
Mr Tonny Blaire Okello the team captain of Okwerkwor village expressed gratitude to his teammates after a 3:1 win against Ocero.
He adds that his team is getting “all types of trainings” in order to make them win the Cup.
In another fixture, to be played Saturday at 4:00pm, Alito village will be taking on Anyomoranga village at Alapata primary school playground.

Last week, youth in Alapata parish asked Dokolo North MP, Paul Amoru Omiat through their manager Hillary Omara to organize for them a Christmas Cup tournament “to pass festive seasons”.
The youths had agreed to re-elect Amoru Omiat once he accepts to sponsor the Cup.
They claim that other politician deceived them on sponsorship but later failed, meaning “they don’t want to develop youth talents”.
The prices to be won, including cash, will be disclosed on Saturday (today)—Jaspher Ouni reports.
