Onduparaka FC unveils two Acholi players

Lira—1, September 2020: Onduparaka FC, the Arua based football club playing in the Uganda Premier League, has confirmed signing two more players from Acholi sub-region on Monday, 31 August 2020 in the week.

Stephen Ogiramoi, formerly of U-Touch and Simon Okot who plays for Acholi Province in the FUFA Drum tournament were all unveiled by Onduparaka.

The pair signed a contract of two and three years, respectively.

This brings to a total of six (6) players who have signed for the Caterpillar, all from Acholi and Lango sub-region in recent weeks.

Last month, four players from Saviors FC based in Lira City, Lango sub-region were signed by The Caterpillars. The players include; Nelson Opio, Jaspher Okello, Okech Emmanuel and Odur Emmanuel.

Ivan Ocan who is the CEO of U-Touch confirmed the development TND News’ Lira City based Radio partner, 94.3 QFM on September, 1 2020.

Mr Ocan says they have been in agreement with Onduparaka.

He, however, says they are yet to finalize “other things as soon as possible” much as they have been requested by Onduparaka to allow Stephen to be unveiled.
