Central Uganda—10 June 2020: SIMI Mobile Technologies, a Chinese conglomerate giant manufacturing and assembling various electronic products and brands in Uganda, have expanded its operations in the central region districts of Kayunga, Mukono, Mityana. Others are Kampala, Wakiso, Luwero, and Entebbe, among others.
According to John Kenneth Othieno, the Central Region Marketing Manager (CRMM), the decision to expand operations to the above districts was in response to the clarion call made by Ugandans for SIMI Mobile products.
Mr Othieno revealed that smart mobiles phones such as the famous and fancy S-630 (2.0 GHz Octra Core 4+64 GB inbuilt memory, very strong battery, with both light & G- Sensor), S-507 (1.3 GHz Quad-core, GPS and G-Sensor) S-205 (commonly referred to as a power bank) are among the high value brands that have the high demand owing to their versatility, durability and affordability.
He [Othieno] further urged all Ugandans, dealers, wholesaler, agents to purchase and stock SIMI Mobile brands because of their guaranteed quality and traceability.
SIMI Mobile brands can now be purchased online on Jumia, with a high propensity of making it to other online markets such as Alibaba—China’s first online market.
