Uganda Police Force (UPF) says it has recovered three guns stolen in April this year.
In a Tweet on Tuesday, the UPF said the guns with ammos were stolen from Kortek Police Post in Bukwo district and Mulungwa Astu Detach in Kween district.
“The Police in Sipi region have recovered 3 guns with ammunitions earlier stolen from Kortek Police Post in Bukwo district and Mulungwa Astu Detach in Kween district.”
According to Police, the incident happened on April 18, 2020.
“We commend members of the public who have cooperated with the police,” part of the Tweet reads.
