On Saturday, 02 May 2020 H.H. Eng Dr Michael Odongo Okune accompanied by his children visited renowned musician Mzee B Beniman.
Mr Benard Ogwang, known by his stage name as above is currently on the road to recovery at his home in Kyanja, a Kampala suburb.
Lango Chief, Eng Dr Odongo prayed with Mzee B Beniman and conveyed to him a “get well soon” message from entire Tekwaro Lango leadership.
His Highness commended the musician for being a very inspirational role model for the youth and upcoming artists.
“I thank the artist and H.E. Gen Yoweri Kaguta Museveni for bringing peace to northern Uganda and presently for great astuteness in leading the war against COVID-19 pandemic,” Eng Odongo said, during his visit.
He added that Ogwang Benard’s clan chief (Awitong) of Arak Opelo, Mr Ogwal Olule spoke to him on phone.
He added that the latter thanked him for sparing time to visit the musician.
Among Won Nyac’s entourage were his children; Alex Okune Odongo, Allan Odora Odongo and Shauna Arao Odongo Okune.
They were received by the ailing singer and his daughter a one Immaculate.
