On Wednesday, two Ambassadors representing Uganda and Ethiopia respectively met in London where key topics for discussions were on the table.
Ambassadors Julius Peter Moto – Uganda’s High Commissioner in United Kingdom hosted his counterpart, H.E. Mr Fesseha Shawel Gebre at Uganda Embassy, Trafalgar Square, London.
Mr. Shawel had called on his friend, Mr. Moto – nearly four months after assuming his diplomatic duties to the United Kingdom.
Ambassador Moto condoled with Ethiopia following the March 10 crash of Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302 that killed all 157 passengers and crew on the Boeing 737 Max 8 jet.
The two diplomats discussed matters of bilateral interests to both Uganda and Ethiopia.
“The issues covered the River Nile resources, IGAD, AMISOM, peace in South Sudan and other matters of regional significance,” Ambassador Moto tells TND News on Wednesday.
Both ambassadors promised to work together on common causes relating to the two countries.
