A dilapidated house being demolished in Oyam district on Sunday morning crushed a kid dead instantly.
The kid only Identified as Ajuc, (his soubriquet), and who was about one and a half years old had followed his father and stood on the verandah of a dilapidated house.
The killer house belonged to deceased grand father.
It was at that time when Vincent Ogwang, his father was atop the roof removing the old iron sheets to transfer to the pit latrine.
Soon, the debris collapsed and buried his own kid.
Mr Ogwang, came down, started pulling his son whose neck and ribs were all crushed.
The kid’s mother who was warned earlier to keep the kid away from falling house, was peeling sweet potato for breakfast.
The incident took place at Teokutu village, Area parish, Aber sub county in Oyam district.
Eye witnesses said he was retrieved and buried the same day, deeper in the ground.
Mourners blamed him (deceased father) for violating the ten commandments of God by working on Sunday amid calls to respect Holy Days this Easter season.
