Ngetta Tropical Holdings [NTH Ltd] is set to launch its first item for consumption, Virgin Gold Cooking Oil.
Virgin Gold Cooking Oil entered Ugandan markets in recent months, with supplies across country’s top supermarkets; wholesale and retail shops in major towns.
Mr Paul Omara, the Chief Executive Officer [CEO] of NTH Ltd announces the launch which will take place in Lira town on the 11, August, 2018.
“We had a successful virgin Gold sunflower cooking oil launch in Kampala on the 19, January 2018. We are now going to have a grand finale launch in Lira City on the 11, August. The idea is to make sure that our people first use healthy oils and secondly we get to keep our money with the local economy,” Omara says in a statement on Saturday.
Adding, “Keeping money within local economy spurs more investments, employment and development. I would therefore like to invite everybody to come and join us “Ngetta Tropical Holdings Ltd” in our efforts of transformation Northern Uganda through agricultural development and manufacturing. Let us make it fun.”
A preliminary road procession before gathering at a venue released by the company say people, accompanied with the bands, will walk through Obote Avenue [Lira main street] and joining other streets to the Mayors’ Garden.

This road-map, the company say is subject to confirmation by the authorities.

Boniface Otim Ogwal, the NTH Ltd’s Acting Manager Marketing and Sales say Virgin Gold cooking oil is 100 percent sunflower cooking oil.
Mr Otim says there is a guarantee that it’s chemical free, authentic, healthy natural product.
“It’s time for Ugandans to enjoy pure natural products and NTH Ltd is providing that without reservation,” Otim told this news website on Saturday afternoon.
